Sunnyvale Metro Little League is a volunteer organization operating under the Charter of Little League Baseball. We are located in Little League Region 5, District 44.

Metro is dedicated to providing a safe, fun program where boys and girls ages 4 through 16 can enjoy learning and playing the game of baseball.

Sunnyvale Metro Little League was founded in 1962 and is co-sponsored by the City of Sunnyvale in the state of California. Metro is the largest chapter in our area, serving approximately 175 players and their families.

Metro relies upon parent and community participation in order to provide a meaningful program to our young baseball players:

• Parents manage and coach teams (training is available)
• Team Parents help managers organize during the season
• Local businesses sponsor our league
• Adults and responsible teens umpire our Farm, Minors, and Majors games
• Parents perform field prep and staff our snack shacks
• Parents volunteer for our Board of Directors to help run the league
